Ali Comercial Lda, initiated its operation in 2006 as a retail outlet for merchandising a wide range of products including food, cleaning, beauty and cosmetics, electronics and more. The product line is diverse and the aim is to reach the most remote places in the country.
The Cogef Group's decision to acquire Ali Comercial in March 2010, was based on the fact that this would facilitate the expansion and distribution of their products to locations in the provinces of Quelimane, Sofala, Tete and Nampula. This fusion accelerated the growth of the Group, by using the same qualified management, marketing team and synergies, was quickly able to put into place a strategy to place goods at these locations and profit from this acquisition.
