PRIM Industria Lda, was founded in july 2010 in Machava, province of Maputo. It is a company of the COGEF Group that specializes in manufacturing snacks.
PRIM has a diverse range of snacks, which include potato chips, corn chips, corn puff balls, corn and popcorn, the famous Senor Naks in various flavours and Willard Cheese. Prim snacks have quickly become the No.1 choice of the local consumer.
It all began as the need for a local manufacturer to meet market demands became apparent specially since imported snacks were expensive and not in enough supply.
The Willards and Senor Naks brands produced under license are manufactured under the highest quality standards as required by the brand.
The company's aim is to grow to become a market leader manufacturer of snacks, safeguarding consumer's preference by continuous monitoring and maintaining international quality standards.
With the rapid growth and demand for their products, PRIM saw the need to invest in a fleet of trucks with the aim of facilitating marketing and distribution in the domestic market to the most remote places.
Prim will soon move its operations to its own premises in Matola.
Products
Prim is currently supplying the market with the following: Senor Naks, Willard Cheese Curl, Football, Spider Popcorn in various sizes and packaging.
As a snacks producing company we have chosen to currently manufacture these brands and to introduce new products and brands as our production capacity allows us to implemment the next stage of expansion.

It is due to a highly efficient and multi-tasking team of over 200 men and women, which face a gamut of challenges characteristic of the environment, that make this company and its brands a success.
