RECHEIO Cash & Carry - Super Market - NACALA

 
The latest addition to the COGEF family, RECHEIO Cash & Carry Super Market at NACALA was opened on Friday the 12th April 2013. The inauguration ceremony was attended by eminent dignitaries and was graced by the presence of the administrator and representative of the governor of NAMPULA, who cut the ribbon at 11 am. The ceremony was also attended by the president of the NACALA Municipality, the director of the NACALA port, bankers, suppliers, well-wishing customers and officials of the COGEF Group. 
 
RECHEIO Cash & Carry - Super Market, the first of its kind in the region, is a land mark for all, located close to the NACALA port in the heart of the city. The concept of a cash & carry super market in the region has been made possible with the good wishes and support of all, especially our valued customers whose support has been commendable.

Inauguration of Party Supplies & Sanitary Disposable Products Factory – 12.02.13

 
This is a branch of PRIM INDUSTRIA LDA which was inaugurated by the Chairman Mr. Rizwan Adatia in the presence of the Corporate Executive Committee and the management of PRIM INDUSTRIA.  
 
This industry’s primary aim is to provide Toilet rolls, Serviettes, Kitchen paper towels and disposable cutlery items including knives, forks, spoons, cups, plates and take away trays of the finest quality at affordable prices.
 
The factory is located in Central Machava which is easily accessible in terms of sales and marketing.
 
The group has high expectation from this unit which will add to the overall growth of COGEF Group in Mozambique.
 
 

Africa/Eurasia Delegation Visit to Mozambique – 06.02.2013

 
The President of Colgate, Mr. Panagiotis Tsourapas and the Vice-President Customer Development Mr. Rosario Carlino visited Maputo along with EWA GM, Marketing Director, South Central Africa GM, Customer Marketing Manager and Customer Development Team Leader in a chartered flight.  The purpose of the visit was to review the indirect and direct trade and to develop the market with joint efforts to make Colgate No: 1 brand in Mozambique. COGEF group is the sole distributor of Colgate Palmolive products through indirect trade in Mozambique. The extract of the vice president’s address is as follows:

EWA Distributors Meeting 22-24 January 2013

The East West Africa annual distributor meeting was held at Hotel Radisson Blue in Sandton, Johannesburg with the participation of distributors from 36 countries from East West Africa zone.
 
From among the 47 distributors Cogef Group bagged 3 awards of the 10 for the year 2012 in the following categories:
 
Overall growth (58.8% achieved by Cogef Group)
Best sellers of Palmolive soap
Best sellers of Axion dish washing detergent
 
COGEF Group at the EWA distributor meeting was represented by the Chairman of the group Mr. Rizwan Adatia and the COO Mr. Allen Fernandes.  Receiving the awards on behalf of the group was a profound privilege as the fruits of labor put in by each and every individual of the COGEF Group team was recognized and felicitated as one of the best in its field! 
 

Visit to Governor of Gaza Province (Mozambique) on 12th Sep 2012
